GRA Design Studio was invited to participate in an RFP for a new Family Entertainment Center on a stunning Florida waterfront site. The Floating Beacon reimagines the traditional entertainment complex as a vertical tower of play, rising above the shoreline with a cantilevered form that appears to hover and glow at night.
Rooted in game-theory principles, the design blends cooperation and competition into an immersive architectural experience. Inside, circulation becomes part of the journey anchored by a climbing tower and connected through playful routes offering family-friendly, strategic, or thrill-seeking paths. The experience culminates at a rooftop bar and viewing deck overlooking the Gulf, creating a destination that’s as memorable as it is iconic.
