Positioned at a major gateway into Chatham Borough, this multifamily development serves as a prominent first impression for residents and visitors. With full visibility across an open foreground, the façade required an architectural language that both respects community character and introduces thoughtful contemporary design.
Working closely with the Borough, we explored multiple design directions, ultimately selecting a concept that mirrors the rhythm and scale of traditional single-family homes while integrating modern detailing and efficient planning. The result is a three-story building that feels familiar yet fresh an example of our ability to interpret and elevate local architectural identity through tailored design.
