Our Process
Introductory Call
We begin with a brief call to introduce GRA, walk you through our design process, and discuss the initial scope of your project.
Site Survey & Site Analysis
Our Survey Team visits your site to complete a survey of the existing space. The surveyor will make sure that dimensions are captured, as well as all utility information that is available on site. This information, in combination with your Landlord’s Work Letter, helps us to identify what scope of work is expected to be delivered by your landlord, any constraints or deficiencies that the site has and any missing information that needs to be identified to be able to complete construction documents.
Space Planning
Using the information gathered from the site, the Project Team will begin laying out an initial layout based on corporate standards. For up and coming franchises our team can work to develop brand standards and prototype documents in coordination with your marketing team.
Construction Documents
Our architectural and MEP team prepares a complete set of technical drawings with all the details required for permitting and construction.
Permit Coordination
Once Construction Documents are issued, our in-house Permit Coordinators will package all drawings and permit applications for Zoning, Building and Health (if required) and prepare for submission to the City/Town on your behalf.
