The Studio Behind the Design

Founded in 2011 by Architect Gregory Ralph, GRA Design Studio is built on the belief that architecture is both a creative and strategic discipline. We are not interested in formulaic solutions. Instead, we approach each project as an opportunity to question convention, test ideas, and apply design intelligence in service of our clients’ goals.

Our work is guided by a clear point of view one that values rigor, clarity, and purposeful deviation when it leads to better outcomes. This architect-led mindset informs what we call the “GRA Way”: an integrated, flexible approach that allows design thinking to lead decision-making at every scale.

Since its origins as a single studio, GRA Design Studio has grown into a nationally active practice with strong local relationships across the United States. Our team is structured to work where our clients need us, bringing consistency of vision alongside regional knowledge.

To support this approach, we have developed integrated, in-house capabilities that extend beyond traditional architectural services. These include Existing Conditions Surveys using Matterport technology, MEP design, permitting, interior design, and real estate advisory and transactional services through our partners at Real Brokerage. This collaboration allows us to engage projects earlier often at the site selection and feasibility stage aligning real estate strategy with architectural intent from the outset. Housing these disciplines under one roof enables tighter coordination, greater control of documentation, and a more efficient project delivery process without compromising design quality.

This integrated model has made GRA Design Studio a trusted partner for national franchise brands, a core focus of our practice. At the same time, our work extends to high-end commercial projects, multifamily development, and luxury residences.
